The Marcus S. Bawol Memorial Scholarship is an academic scholarship for the brothers, sisters, children, and grandchildren of military veterans and current service members. The scholarships will be awarded based on a 3.5 or above grade point average, community service participation, and an essay of no fewer than 250 words and no more than 500 words on the following topic: The relevance and impact of your family’s service in the United States armed forces in your life.
Marcus Scott Bawol was a former Warren Mott Marauder, Class of 2006, and United States Marine who lost his life in a training accident on March 10, 2015. Marcus, a combat veteran in Iraq and Afghanistan, served with the United States Marine Corps, Special Forces, Special Operations Battalion. His personal awards included the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Combat Action Medal, and Good Conduct Medal.
We, the Marcus S. Bawol Scholarship Fund, ask for your support in continuing Marcus’s legacy of service, sacrifice, and excellence in funding his memorial scholarship.
Our contribution levels for 2018-2019 are as follows:
Bronze: $25.00
Silver: $50.00
Gold: $100.00
